West Island Martial Arts
Practiced for a variety of reasons, such as self-defense, competition, physical health and fitness, as well as mental, physical and spiritual development, martial arts enjoy an ever increasing popularity among people of all ages. There are a large number of distinct styles and schools of martial arts. Sometimes, schools or styles are introduced by individual teachers or masters, or as a brand name by a specific gym.

Martial arts in all it's different schools is a form of exercise and personal development that promotes health and relieves stress. In the west island you will find classes Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Karate, Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do and possibly others that are not yet registered in our listings.
Martial artists often include the exercises of yoga to improve flexibility, strengthen the body, and increase energy and master breathing.
